timing with nos

how much timing should i start at or pull out with around a 250 shot 605'' w/c-460 heads,16.5 to 1.thanks eric

At 16.5/1 you may pull the head studs out of the block.

with that much compression i think he is trying to say you better be spot on the tune up not guessing, Steve Johnson runs a Thor Headed BBF he is familiar with NOS and different combination's with that much money in the parts you should probably give him a call and speak to him one on one.

man i sure hope not.. if so i'll have a cheap a-460 block for sale..LOL one thing to my advantage is i only run 160'.

just thought i'd let every one know i made a few passes with the bottle. i pit was 200' long and i only stayed in it aroud 50-75 feet but damn she liked it a bunch thanks to everyone that helped me along the way...eric

ive never had my car in ky. ive raced my dads in ky before i owned my own...yeah i think i have some on the computer i'll have to look...eric
