Garage Sale......
I've been cleaning out the garage the last couple days, and would like to get rid of some stuff.
Moser 31 spline axles with studs and bearings: They measure 26" and 21-5/8" from the outside of the bearing to the end of the splines. They're 5 on 4-1/2 & 5 on 5-1/2 bolt patterns. $300.00 shipped in the lower 48. These only have "3" passes on them.

C6 converter: This converter stalled 4200 behind my 521, with brake, and worked good before I went to the Glide last year. I don't know what kind of converter it is. Matt Exner built it for me 2 years ago. Has 30 passes on it, but it wouldn't hurt to have it checked out. You know how converters are. $100.00 shipped in the lower 48.
Converter is SOLD...!
I really need to get this stuff gone, so I can get some scratch together to go racin'. Any "reasonable" offer considered, so make me one.
Any questions, don't hesitate to gimme a shout on my cell: 406 431 3265.
Thanks,
Doug...

Interested in the headers, but cant find any info on L and L about 1 and 7/8 headers, if they can be made to work on my 77 I will take them....and do the axles fit a truck housing or a narrowed one?

The axles are for a narrowed housing. Plus, the truck axles are equal length. I don't know how much difference there is between the 70's & 80's models, but I'm pretty sure these won't work. I'll do a little research and let ya know.

If you are talking 2wd they are nothing similar. They moved the steering box from behind to in front of the crossmember I believe in 1980 so I couldn't imagine they would fit. I have a couple 79's and an 86 that I swapped a 460 in using the L&L headers but I have never tried to swap the headers between trucks.

Re: Garage Sale......
I believe you're correct Jason. I think the biggest difference is the frame width. I remember a couple summers ago, I "had" a pair of L&L fender exit headers for a 77-79, and I tried to put them on my 86, but the only thing preventing them from going in, was my frame was a tad wider so the rear tubes were hitting and preventing them to make contact with the head. So, as bad as I want to sell these headers, I won't try and sell them for the wrong app. though.

Man I need some bigger tube headers for my 521 in my 77 pretty bad, I am going to do little more research and see how much I would have to do to make them fit, I was fixing to order a kit and make a set myself but am running out of time......

Re: Garage Sale......
Hi Doug, You say chassis exit headers. I'm unsure what you mean by that. Do the headers go outside the frame rails or inside the frame rails? My truck pulling buddy is looking for a set of 1-7/8 headers that go outside the frame rails. Also do you still have the collectors that you cut off? We would have to weld them back on as the class he wants to pull in only allows 3 inch exhaust. Thanks and let me know.
