Anatomy of a car

Post  kjett on July 27th 2010, 6:43 pm

We all know that the motor is the heart, the body the skin, and the rear end need i say more. But what would the transmission be? Would it be considered the guts? Considering it has to take all of it in and either makes the car shit and get or gives you the squirts down the track.

Just something to think about as I get my transmission rebuilt from the recent melt down leaving me with the squirts. Very Happy

You-brain
tongue- metering block
feet-tires
waist-axle
spine-driveshaft
eyes-headlights
mouth-intake
stomache-cylinder
butt-header collector
sweat-radiator fluid
hair-filter
lungs-piston

now can you figure out WHY each is what it is? I know. The oil pump would kind of be the heart because it pumps the oil through the motor. But then what would the motor be? Wink

Big Daddy A/C has a motor with an oil pump. 60hp hollow shaft irrigation motor, it pumps oil to the top bearing. My well pump engines all have oil pumps too. Cool

Sleep OK schitty you got me on that one I wasn't think good ,Yes some motors do we have a big IR air compressor at work that the ultra coolant oil get pump to the the motor bearing the other 5 air campressors I have to put 2 shots of grease in each bearing every oil change.

I know most of us call a engine a motor alot I even catch my self doing it.
I was just messing with him.
