the crank in a 332 is 3.30 stroke and the stroke in a 352 is 3.50. the bore is the same rods are the same but the pistons are different.As far as looking at them,the 332 is light green and the 352 is a robin egg blue. If you need parts for either,just let me know

thanks for the info. yes this motor was a light green&2 barrel carbed. the customer and i are thinking of swapping out the crank to a 352 and building it with a 4barrel carb set up. the number on the crank are-#5752421. is this the 332?

did the 332's not have a somewhat lower deck height then the rest of the FE's?

All FE motors have a 10.17" deck height from the factory. The 332 and the 352 share the same bore but the 332 has a shorter stroke. When you restore Edsels on the side you figure out all sorts of cool stuff about FE, FT, MEL, & Y-block engines.
