the crank in a 332 is 3.30 stroke and the stroke in a 352 is 3.50. the bore is the same rods are the same but the pistons are different. As far as looking at them, the 332 is light green and the 352 is a robin egg blue. If you need parts for either, just let me know Smile

Didn't the early FE's have different rod Lengths?

thanks for the info. yes this motor was a light green&2 barrel carbed. the customer and i are thinking of swapping out the crank to a 352 and building it with a 4barrel carb set up. the number on the crank are-#5752421. is this the 332?

did the 332's not have a somewhat lower deck height then the rest of the FE's?

All FE motors have a 10.17" deck height from the factory. The 332 and the 352 share the same bore but the 332 has a shorter stroke. When you restore Edsels on the side you figure out all sorts of cool stuff about FE, FT, MEL, & Y-block engines.

332-352 deal sounds like a 429-460.
