Well thanks Rick, was a good weekend. Was able to qualify #1 with a 9.009 Would have been better if I would have won the wally, but I slept at the tree and he had a .009 and ran dead on. After teens and 20 lights all weekend been takin a lot of teasing bout my .070 light in the final, even took a tongue lashing (joking) from Larry Morgan. Met Keith Fulp, was very nice talking with him and seeing his very cool car. This NHRA unleashed thing is cool deal. The next one is at National Trail the weekend after NMRA ( I know not good timing) but it is a fun deal if anyone can make it.

We were on a .400 tree, I was pretty happy with the lights considering I did not put my pro tree trans. in. In testing I thought I might get away with the old bracket trans. that I run all the time and was lucky I hit it most of the time. Will likely put the other one in for the next one cause the tree at NTR will be .030 quicker. I have to check but they usually use the national event tree which in effect is a .370, they dont call it as such but it is a .400 tree with a .030 delay.

I agree Rick, they do not advertise it and still call it a .400 tree. I guess a lot of tracks do it, Indy did not for whatever reason. I think the way it works is they actually run the tree on .370 and put a .030 delay into the lights with the computer. It is a .370 tree as far as I am concerned, but you wont get them to say that.
