NMRA Columbus September 3 - 5

Just checking to see who all is going to the NMRA race in Columbus Ohio. We plan on going however it all depends on some Family issues (Tracy's dad and my dad aren't doing so well).

We've been over run with Prototype orders at work and that's where I've been for the last month+. I notified my Manager that I WILL be racing in September and October, thus scheduling my Vacation in advance. Hopefully it all works out...

Hopefully we can all get together, like last year...

I don't think i'm going to make it this year,i don't have much vacation time left and will probably use it the weekend before.I might even try to race my car that weekend my buddy is sponsoring a 8.90 race at Thompson August 28th.

I had a good time there last year however the track surface leaves a lot to be desired. Hopefully they have fixed some of the craters in the concrete...

I'll be out of vacation time after the next time i take off.I would really like to make the BBF Bash and the Bowling Green NMRA Race.Maybe someday wishfull thinking i guess,Later Mark.

I changed a few things on LiL Tweety. Pulled the heads and found that the Valves hadn't been Lapped and had 2 ex.on left bank and 3 ex. on rt. bank that were leaking. I lapped them in my self,now I know they are ok I also changed back to my single 4 intake and new MSD crank trigger dizzy. Car sounds alot more crisp than ever before. Gonna go up Sat. and finish my 2 1/4 mi. License passes and run S/P since I'm already paid for the weekend and run for the $1500 in NOS on Sun.

Is anyone else going to make it

Chuck and his family will be there. Tracy and I will be camping with the boys this weekend. Sorry, I won't make it...

I can't make it this year let us know how the Falcon runs.Did you change the converter or is it the same one you had at Norwalk?On a side note about Norwalk my buddy won the wheelie contest at Pinks,it is a Chevy though.

No,I did'nt change the converter(don't have enough change in my piggy yet,will get a new one this winter).Gonna make my last 2 license passes and then just enjoy the weekend.Gonna miss you guy's.

Yeah it's the buddy with the white 69 Camaro i didn't go to Pinks i was at Thompson where i raced my car.He had the front wheels way up there and had the passenger rear tire 3 inches off the ground!!!Good luck your car should run good looks like some cool air this weekend!!!
