C-HEADED MANIFOLD DISTRIBUTOR ?

ive got the short distrib,and it doesnt clear .do i have to buy a new one that is taller or do they make a different bottum and top cap that is smaller ? thanks
or i will modify the manifold to make it fit im a welder by trade so cutting and welding is as easy as pie -but if i dont have to i wont

You either have to get a 8377 which they no longer make..........I think there was a thread in the auction block where a member found a stash..............or get a small diameter unit and convert it to a CT deal.

I.M.O. put a dizzy in it.

No way in hell you gonna make that one work w/o destroying it.

By the looks of it you would have to cut into the bolt hole to get it to fit. I would just get a new one.

i can add a an fitting to the front of the manifold block off the top with a welded plate and its done - or trade for a taller dizzy

MSD PN8580.........lite silver springs and black bushing.

u could always put the intake on backwards? as long as u can make the water hose work..just a thought.eric

When you put a BB Ford intake on backwards like I have on Kristina Lawyer's engine, where the radiator is mounted over the transmission, you will need to convert to single pass cooling. This requires modifications to the head gasket. Your engine builder should be able to assist you, or do it for you.

I already have one.. and an 8377

I guess I better find some more 8377s....
