Christina drives that rail like she stole it!!! One heck of a racer. I am just glad to see all of those 4 and 5 sec rails shut down in time, because Coles county dragstrip has a huge dip at the end of the track. It usually sends the rearend of the rails airborne.

Sunday morning update. Bobby Small and Scott Carmen lost in the second round, the Kristina lost in the third round to the eventual winner Robbie Freels from Island, KY.. Still, it was a good points outing for Kristina and we'll see Monday or Tuesday when the points are posted, but she should be in second place in the Jegs Super Quick 32 Series. The points lead is held by James Monroe, however he lost in the first round.

Yes, Coles County Dragway has the roughest shutdown area we have ever seen, and in the first round one of the dragster/altered cars got to bouncing so bad during braking that it broke both of the top frame rails. In fact all the hard tail cars had trouble getting stopped. Congrats to Robbie Freels for winning, but you're on my "shit list" now boy

Also, we had a fourth Ford powered dragster that made the show and it was a pleasure to meet Dana Lutz and family from IL. He runs a 598 CID TFS A-460 headed engine with an Enderle Birdcatcher mounted on his new style TFS tunnel ram intake manifold. Unfortunately Dana lost in the first round. Additionally it was good to meet Judd Coffman and I'm glad we got to check all the valve spring pressures on his TFS A-460 heads in the Lawyer's trailer.

The Quote Windy Hollow Bad ASS took the win. Congrats to Robbie Freels. Robbie is the 2009 WHD S.Pro champ. The way I figure the points Kristina is in second place Until the next race. Bobby Small by Qualifying for the next race will move into second place as he and Scott Carmen Have not been to 6 races yet. Good Luck to all three of them as things are definitely heating up for the last two races.

So , they "claim" only 6 races?

They get to claim there best 6 races. But you get 30 points for qualifying and Kristina has already been to six races where Bobby and Scott have only been to five. Things are really close and all good racers. Kristina just needs an American dragster. Having them in Fords is more important.

They all have a lot of common products on their machines.

Looks like Kristina and Bobby will be tied for second place and Scott will move into a tie for third after qualifying at the next race. Good job to all three of you. Doing great!! How can it be 3 Quick fuel carb dragsters with VP racing GAS. WOW!!

To have three of your local dragsters,,,,,, meaning QFT carbs, VP Racing gas, Ford engines with B.F.Evans parts, TCI, Comp Cams, Fab Shop,, etc. in the top five in points speaks volumes in my book Phillip. Bobby Shrewsberry could be up there also if he ran the circuit,,,and so will Morgan when she runs in the Jegs Series. So X 2
