Agreed! Looks fairly straight. What's the other side look like? I know a guy here that would probably buy that, IF you were so inclined. I know he's been looking for one of those, and ahsn't found one yet, that I know of.

Doug... Cool

Looks good for a project, where abouts in Michigan was that? I was at Milan (NMCA) today and there were some cars for sale but I didn't see any Fords there for sale. Was a good day, 4 nitrous backfires (big ones) and one world record and two national records were set. Smile

Thank's guys, the other side looks the same,no dents, just a little rust, the side pic looks a bit funky but it's just a reflection.I got it to fire up with some carb spray but I think it needs a fuel pump.the interior is ok,the front seat has cover on it,the back seat is good,as far as I can tell it's all original.89000 miles.hasn't been run in over 20 years, inside a barn.

Nice find Greg.
Looks like it's in real good condition.
Most of those 89000 must have been summer miles.

most of the FMX I have seen were behind 351 W cars, but if could be, with ford any thing could happen.....

Not sure about the Torino's but my 72 Mach1 had a 351C with the FMX. It was just a two barrel.

My 71 mustang had the 351c 4 bb had the c6 with small 10" convertor that stalled 2500 from ford it carry's a different flex plate than the 2 bb engines the bolt pattern for the convertor is closer together they didn't put the ears on the convertor for the standard flex plate. My 72 had the 351c 2 bb with the fmx .

As you guys have kind of already mentioned about the transmissions: Most 4v cleveland motors came with C6's and a lot of 2v motors came with the FMX tranny. The 69 mustang that I just recently sold had a 72 model engine that was a 2v and came with a C6. I would be willing to bet that a big car like that would have the C6.
