Dragster day ......

so Julia, Stephen, Maria and i went Jr dragster shopping today and looked at 2 pieces ...one which was out of our price range and one that was needing alot of work ...we will keep on looking .....

i also noticed out of the hundreds of Dragsters on the property i could only find 2 fords ... one of which was a big block ..... all in all we had a good day , and it was maria's first day at the track ...

The pic of the BBF dragster is my buddy Shane Maddox. His dad is a chassis builder in Greenville, SC. He built my car and the dragster in the pic. It's a 588 with an old set of FMS A-heads. That same engine went 5.09 last weekend in his dads 04 Mustang @ about 2400 lbs. One of the guys Shane was at the race with, Kevin Brannon, won the 10 grand Sat. night.

Hey big Dave ( Stacy here ) how are you, Bruno what kind of jr are you looking for. I just got my son another one, so I will be selling the old one. It was his car when he started 12.90, then 10.90. Car runs 10.00's JR racecars Shock Wave clutch ,motor plate, jack shaft an mounting block, & 7" driver. 28 mm makuni carb Nothing real fancy but very safe a good starter car.

yes we are looking for a low budget t/k package ....... the slower the better , Stephen watched the 7.80's car race the 12' cars and immediatly wanted the faster car ..... but i explained to him he would be starting out in the slower car and would have to work his way up .....

This is a complete car with starter & dolly. Can't figure out how to post picture, give me an email address I'll send it that way.

My kids have been wanting one too. I have to wait until next year though when my youngest turns 8. I have a friend who has one for his kid and I plan to get my kids into it to see if they like it.
