-.001 light dang it

well we qualified #5 last night in a pretty large field and the guy next to us tried to burn us down after we prestaged then he double bulbed our ass. No big deal, we thought, because we had him covered by a half second and he couldn't cut a light if we ran an 800 tree. Josh went a freaking -.001 red.

When I get the video I will put it into super slow-mo so you guys can see what an actual -.001 light looks like. I wanted to throw up.

Another thing: portable scales suck. in qualifying we weighed 3298 so we added a 20lb weight to be safe and during eliminations, when they wouldn't allow us time to pull weight, we weighed 3359. So our Department of Agriculture certified weight, out of our grain elevator scale, weighed 61lbs. All they could do was shrug their shoulders.

And One More Thing: we weighed more than any other car there even the 600ci fogger motors and they say that's fair. the class winner weighs 3020 sbf with TWO foggers.

It doesn't take much to futts with them $1000-$1300 dollar portable scales if they aren't treated as if they were made of glass. I always wondered how far off the portable scales at the King of the Hill shows might be after seeing them get treated like siht as the guys were trying to weight a bunch of cars after passes.

The blue car has legal tires. The blue beadlocks sure do make them look bigger though.

Check out the red Nova at 7:50. He sure wanted the win. It is 582Nova on the bumper, again. By the way, that car is on 275's and Caltrac bars.
