Not the best of days

I was on my way to work this afternoon,just after meeting my girlfriend to give her some stuff for making her desserts for Thanksgiving. When she called me crying , her last living Aunt and Uncle died in a house fire in High Point ,NC last night. They've been wanting to come see her horses and farm for the last few months ,calling every week planning their trip. i sure hate this for her! Then ,as soon as I got off the phone with her, one of my best friends(a racing buddy) calls and tells me another friend of ours hung himself this morning!! Man ,what a day!! Cherish your family and friends....you never know when they may leave you!!

Thoughts and prayers out to them. The hanging is a tough one. Lots of damage to those left....

Man,thats terrible Dan. You tell your girlfriend me and Sooz will pray for the whole family . And for your racing buddy,Wow,HOW BAD DOES IT HAVE TO GET TO TAKE YOUR LIFE,to late to pray for him,but not for his family.

Bob Cochran called me Monday on his way from his winter home in Florida to kentucky and said his 83 yr. old father had just passed away while fixing breakfast for Bob's mother. What a week

Our prayer will be with your girl friend family and your friends family and anyones ealses who has lost love ones.My exsister inlaw lost her mother monday they are putting her to rest this afternoon at 4:30.

So sorry to hear Dan! Tell her we will be praying for her and her family. And your friends family too. I've lost two friends I went to school with to suicide in the last 6 weeks.

Sorry about the losses there Dan. I can't imagine why someone would be so discouraged with life to want to commit suicide. Prayers going out to all involved.

Dan, our condolences go out your girlfriend and family...and to all that has just recently lost a friend or loved one.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers everyone. I'm good, just got to get her through this tough time. She was extremely close to them. I'm exhausted and running on 4 hours of sleep. Thanks again !!
