New daily driver....

Post  cletus66 on December 14th 2010, 5:33 pm

I just picked up a 92 5.0/AOD Mustang. It was a chick car, so it is nearly perfect inside. It needs paint, but it runs great. It ain't fast, but it got 21 mpg on the 120 mile ride home. Very Happy

Funny how an 18 year old car is the newest thing I drive...... Rolling Eyes

LOL, the gears in my head are already turning. Over the years, I have collected all kinds of parts, big block and small block. Must resist temptation, must resist temptation..... Shocked

Nice color too Jeff. I've left my 91 GT convertible stock. I got it in 1993, the only thing not stock is the radio and speakers. I'm glad i left it alone now. Was always tempted to do a bunch of mods to it . not many of them left now that haven't been changed around.

I hope to leave it alone. It has an aftermarket exhaust that is very quiet and a K-N filter. Everything else looks stock. 6 am, had too many beers last night, I just want to got to work with no hassle. Laughing I work with a guy that has an 8 second race car and several 11 second street cars. He drives a 4 cylinder/5 speed S-10 to work and loves it. I wish I could do that. Embarassed

I like it Cletus. I would leave it just as it is. Sooz has a 95 GT Conv. that I bought new for her. I left it all stock except the Flow Masters. Now has 198K on it . Still a great car.
