Help on bad miss

My motor started backfiring through headers and missing. checked timing and it is dead on.Push rods valves and springs are ok. not bent or stuck.
compression 160 cold on all 8. Changed coil and put new plugs and wires on, ran fine for 2 days,,now its doing it agin
Motor is just 466 D3s about 9.1 compression, 750 holly vac. MSD ready to run dis.vac.adv. with no box. Could this be the module in dis.

can i ask you a dumb question.....

did you just change your plugs? if so, double check the wires.....i had a similar prob (was backfiring through carb bad) after two days playing with it, double checked the wires and the 1 and 2 cylnder were switched by mistake

changed plugs and wires and they are not crossed, it dose not backfire through cab, just through headers but just now and then and when it dont it still missing. everything replaced new but the dis... But we'll get fixed when Dan the fix it man gets here I haven't even met the man and he's going to stop by on his way to see somebody else, how cool is that.

ps: He also said he would bring that funny looking Hat and put on it to help it out
