is the fordomatic not a 2 speed trans???

If I could build one really tough without spending too much more than a glide then I would use a FOM in a drag car. I would hate to put GM stuff in a Ford.

So its not really a "two speed", yes it is but no it isn't. Is the powerglide like that or is it JUST two gears? I honestly wanted to put a 4 speed in whatever drag car I build
