c 6 low gears

What is the lowest gears yall ever heard of for 2nd gear in a c 6? I know a guy that says his 2nd gear is in the 1.7s. If this is true ,how do I do it? He says it has some buick parts.All I know is his stuff runs. Any help would be good.

Use the E40D/4r100 rev planet, drive shell, sun gear, and ring gear. This will give you a 2.71-1 first gear ratio and a 1.54-1 2nd.
I have a set of parts that are a friends that are for sale if I'd ever round them up lol.

I dont know of anything available there that cheap or easy to get you there. Why the need for the 2nd gear ratio you are asking about?

I have to run a 3 speed.I take off in 2nd gear shift it once like a 2 speed. Never had any problems looking to slow wheel speed down at launch.
