1250 dominator ?

I have a brand new 1250 that i bought from pro systems and it sit for awhile before installing it on the intake...Had a few leaks and i ask patrick for some new gaskets & he sent me a full set...Was more than helpful & it solved that problem...Only problem i have now is when i go to crank the engine it starts fine and idles great...After i kill it ' it will start right back up again..But if i wait 10 mins or so and try to start it' it seems to be flooded...I hold the gas down just a little till it cranks & clean the engine & it still idles great...What would be causing this?? Check to see if it is leaking fuel down the intake while it is setting.

Im going to fire it back up in a little bit and see what i can find...Patrick just emailed me and said start out with the float level @t 25% ....Said i could take the carb off and sit it on a can or something and see if its a internal leak....It cranks fine if it sits longer' later that day or the next morning... just seems flooded after i run it for 2 or 3 mins ' a recrank it in like 10 or 15 mins later is when it does it....Would it be leaking from the squirter gaskets or where??thanks

Was in email with patrick for hours last night! We took the fuel pressure down to 4psi and it started everytime with flooding...But still have the fog in the front only after killing the engine....I still want to beleive the needle and seats are not seating good' even though i looked at them close & nothing! Unless the rubber is hardened and not seating good...Here is what the front looks like after shutting it down...It fogs in the front only...

Thanks alot for the phone/tech help....The carb is doing better now than it has the whole time i been working on it...Like you said i can see now where the clear sites can fool you bigtime...When i thought i had the floats low enough ' after you had me take them down some more! I see they were still too high...I have messed with alot of carbs' but wasn't familiar with the Dominator....I didnt want to fire it back up again because it was soo late....But i will crank it first thing in the morning' let it sit for 15-20 mins and retry it...Thanks alot for all your help...I told my wife it makes a big differance when you talk to someone ' that you can relate to and can tell they know what their talking about....Thanks
