I think your Mustang is in the February issue of Modified Mustangs and Fords on page 28. The funny thing is I was looking through some old magazines last night and your car was in the November 2006 issue of Mustang and Fords (WFC 9). Then I see it again today on the newstand. Damn red Mustang is everywhere. Congratulations! There is also an article on a 598 inch big block with C460 heads. Only made 915 hp but good 2 part article none the less.

What a terrible article. In the previous months issue IIRC they were talking about only wanting to make a 750 hspr (or something like that) so it would be reliable and putting a mild cam in it so that it would make good torque. For hecks sake, like an A headed 598 is not going to make much torque. What a stupid thing to even say. I am glad when they were trying to make so little power they ended up with a more reasonable number. The best thing about the article is that is shows even if you have know idea what you are doing you can still make over 900 hspr with a big block Ford.

Yeah I wasn't too impressed with the horsepower numbers especially when there are P-51 deals on here now making those numbers. But it did say all they did to the heads was port match them. I thought it was nice to see an article on a big block ford for a change though. I get tired of reading about late model Mustangs and small blocks all the time. (Not that I don't like them just would like to see more big block stuff).

I guess that was NMRA finals coverage? I'll be finding out after work today when I track that magazine down.
