Finally!! Finally!! 6.0's Empty Finally!! Finally!! 6.0's

After 5 years of hard work, heartache, turmoil, and too much money I got into the 6.0's today. Off the trailer it ran 6.0638 at 113. I refueled and made a second pass without any changes and it ran 6.0622 at 113. Ran out of time and did not get to tune. This would not have been possible without my good friend Steve Williams. Thanks to all of my friends on this forum for valuable advice and encouragement over the years. Thanks to my friend Don Harger from Monroe for getting me lined out on alcohol.

Thanks everybody. It was a long time coming. I realized tonight that the glory is short lived. I want some 5's now. I guess it's never fast enough. At times in the past I've been a little quicker at Windy Hollow. Maybe all of you will see the first 5's my car makes this May.

I'm not out to beat anyone, just be competitive and have fun. We can drive down the track together for a photo finish. It does not matter who wins we're both a couple of good guys.

Laughing I didn't mean it that way Kerry, I just meant my car won't be on the track for another month and half, my car was 6.002 last year but I wasn't driving, beat I had was 6.031, I will make it if I have to run it without the dog house. cheers

I did not take it like that Harold. Those numbers on your car last year were perfect for index racing. I remember that last year when you were doing so well. I hope you get all lined out and we can race together this year.
