Good supper
It was snowing and icy today, so I got my creative culinary skills out.
The wife and kids loved it. Here is the recipe as far as I can remember.
Cubed round steak(enough to feed your family). I did three packages(about a pound each) so I had leftovers.
1 large can diced tomatoes
1 large can pineapple
6oz of your favorite BBQ sauce
couple good shakes of Worchestershire sauce
couple good shakes of soy sauce
enough water to cover
put in a crock pot and put on high for the day

Might give this a try with beer next time, or maybe Coke.

Dang Schmitty, that looks pretty good. I may have to give that a try. Did you brown the cube steak first?

Re: Good supper
No I didn't brown it first, just popped it out of the freezer, cut the cube steaks in half for serving size pieces and put them in the crock pot. I would think that if they were thawed and then breaded and browned that the broth would have been considerably thicker and more like a gravy. I have done it both ways and if I would have had a little more time I would have browned them. Another way I have done this is with diced tomatoes and a can of RoTel which is diced tomatoes and green chiles. The wife and kids loved that too.
