The Fords are flying at Beech Bend

Guys,

The TennTucks are going on this weekend at Beech Bend and Phillip Oakley just called. Our local Ford powered dragsters are all going very fast with Scott Carman, Bobby Small, Cheyenne Stanley and Phillip representing us well. They're running 4.40's, 4.50's, and low 4.60's depending on the engine combo with things such as CID, heads, and carbs entering into the mix. I hope they bring home some money!

My good friends from up the road are there.John Baxter has a stick w/BBC that runs 4.50's on motor and another one that won the million,Larry Strickland is also there. Should be some good racin

Two of my old buddies are in at Belle Rose with BBF power. Not contributors to this forum though.

Cheyenne Stanley went 4.45 @ 153 and large change this morning.........632" C460 heads with one carb and C460 manifold.
Shaft rockers and no crank trigger ..........oil was not green
