My brother suvived another brain surgery

My bro had another brain surgery yesterday at M.D.Anderson clinic in Houston ,Tx. They're saying they got all the cancer from what I'm hearing..Unreal, but still haven't heard what they think will be next. what an emotional rollacoaster, he was suppose to dead by the 10th of this month by what the last surgeons told us. I guess time will tell the whole story ,but for now at least there maybe some hope!!Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and support through this ordeal!!

My wife is a long term Leukemia survivor that had a very dim prognosis.

18 years ago this month after dealing with other doctors at another facility, I was told to prepare my family for the passing of my wife. We went to M. D. Anderson and interviewed with Dr's for 11 days before we found one that would experiment on her, due to the fact she had a perfect match bone marrow donor. On the 19th of April 1993, I was called by her doc and was told that she only had a few hours to live without a very radical surgery. He explained that no one had ever survived a fungal infection post bone marrow transplant, but without the surgery, she had 0% chance of making it. They performed the disfiguring surgery to her face and head, and I am very proud to say that I am very happy that they were the ones that we trusting her care with.

The doctors there are very good at their trade, and if possible, they will perform far beyond what we think is possible.

God Bless your brother, and I hope that he will have a testimony to tell years from now.

Curt that is (GREAT) i am Very Happy for you and your Wife, . As far as im concern there is alway's hope

Yeah, it's a story that makes both of us happy to see each and every sunrise. I'm always glad to share it with people who have lost or questioning hope, cause I can assure you that I had (twice). We have seen some very rough times since, but it was far better than the alternative.

I share it because she survived something with a 100% mortality rate. Miracles happen, and she is truly blessed.

My good friend found out last August he had Luekemia.He went thru a stem cell transplant on Feb 8,2011 so far so good for him.Good to hear your wife is doing good,Later Mark.

That's awesome Dan. I have him in my prayers each and every night when I go to bed. Curt, that's awesome as well that your wife is a survivor. Anytime somone can beat any form of cancer, it's an awesome experience.
