It's a 1970 CJ block. They were also used in the 1971 CJ engines if I'm not mistaken.

thanks I knew it was a good one from the 4 bolt mains but did not know how to tell the scj from the cj got a deal on this one standard bore and crank and matching dove heads has the small screw in studs no pistons or rods but 500 dollars had to snatch it up

cj,and scj 4 bolt main blocks are one in the same same, the diff is solid lifter cam,and forged pistons in the scj, but blocks are the same. the a lot more info to this,but this is the best way to explain quickly,

There were a very few 4 bolt P I blocks but like has been said they are the same block as the SCJ stuff.
