Band Of Brothers

Guys,

I've been thrashing this past couple of weeks and a new engine went on the dyno tonight. More on that later. However, after we got it on, Dave Freelander and I went to supper sometime after 9:00 and while there had a chance to talk. I was trying to express how this community of BB Ford guys/fans would do just about anything to help each other out. Dave said, we are like a "Band of Brothers", and I said that's it exactly. The term fits great. Then when I came home tonight, I saw Blake's post about this is way the old forum was, and I agree. Those of you who have come to the BB Ford Bash, or the Winter Tech Seminars, or the NMRA Finals at Beech Bend, or the Block Seminar in Missouri, and the list goes on, but you know what I'm talking about. It's not always about "the money". We love our 385 Series Ford engines, and we will go out of our way to help a brother out. Let's not lose that sense of community that we have.

i have been on the other site and this one . and see alot of names from both . and i dont post to offen and havent meet to meany people from the sites . but from what i have read i can call you all brothers . for the love of the 385 fammily

I haven't met any of y'all personally but I feel like I know you folks better than most guys. I hope to meet up with some of you at the winter seminar or the bash this year ($$$ permitting!!)

The amount of help a bunch of you have been to me is amazing. It is very much appreciated. I try to help out when I can.

i have been on the old fourm since 06
and i have meet a few of you and still have yet to make it to a tech of bash
but i com eon here every day sometimes i post and sometimes not but eather way
i feel like this is famly
i dont have famly that is into racing or motors so with the help of you all
my life has changed for the better and i have come along way
befor i started truckpulling and building BBF'S i was in trouble and headed for a bad way of life
so in many way's you all helped me more than i could ever say
we are brothers and maybe even a few sisters lol
maybe some of you dont know me very well or even like me much
but i am very thanfull for all of you and all that ya all do

I couldnt agree more with Charlie. I raced this weekend with a best time of 9.92 @138 NO way would that have been possible without help from the 460 "brothers". Have a great labor day.

This group has been one of the best to go to for help. I finally met a member face to face today, and can say without a doubt that this is a band of brothers. I have to thank BBF-Falcon for the help today. I am keeping the faith that my rocket will fly again. Hope to be ready for next season, but this is the best place to find answers to my questions. Thanks y'all.

i am glad just to be able to talk about something we all have in common. some has more know how some don't but that fine some have more money and some don't that fine to cause at the end of the day we still love Big Block Fords.

Well I have mostly been a spectator all the way back from the Net54 days...and spent almost everyday reading the posts...and seeing the friendships come to be... and all the help that has gone out to the guys in need of this or that or even a shoulder at times.. and all the laugh's and jokes....One hell of a nice group of guys for sure..

i have never had that kind of money too hang with alot of you and your builds...but I have enjoyed reading and seeing the Pics and Vids of the final products run either on the dyno or at the track..and its been over the years like I had been there also..

I'am just glad you guys have let me hang out online with you and put up with this old fart and some of my off the wall comments !! I have enjoyed it all...and May it keep right on going !!
