Well no 6s Mad but did run a 7.27 @ 94.50 I need a nother converter this one to small it only flashing to 3000.I think it needs a 4000 in it no matter how I left it would only do 1.60 60 foot time.Made 5 passes with 3 passes at 1.6059, 1.6129, 1.6421 these was leaving from 1000rpms ,the 1st pass was a easy pass with a 1.7007 then bringing it up to 1800 all I could with it pushing out of the light with was 1.7189.That the reason I am thinking a 4000 stall after 4000 it comes alive and hauls on top end.The engine ran great with no miss of any kind it likes 34* on the timing it seams to do the best of the line and crossing the line at 5800 to 5900 rpms.I believe with a 4.30 gear it would run some high 10s in the 1/4 the way it comews alive on the top end.

yep the 60' is killing it. I dont know what a guy has to spend on a converter, it would be a good idea to talk to someone like Lenny at UCC rather than buying one of the generic deals through Summit etc.

The alky will put some bottom end torque in that deal and could be your easy 6 sec timeslip fwiw............

Stock Fred Jones C6 I put a B&M shift kit I bought from the Coug. Not bad for a total price in the trans being about $100 except for the converter. It is a BDR supposed to be a 3500 stall it is a 10" I think it was $425 with out looking.BDR said send it back and he would adjust it for me if it was to tight or loose going to call them Monday and see what they say.I got the guy's name I talked to wrote down just got to dig it back out.
