C4 TRANS BRAKE QUESTION

I have a c 4 with a brake in my 65 mustang when you hit the trans brake it holds but when you bring it up on the stutter box it push's the car forward.I don't know any history on the trans other than it has a reverse pattern valve body a A code servo and a ptc 4500 stall. It works great on foot break and has a rock solid 1/2 and 2/3 shift. I would be thankfull for any help. Ward

check your line pressure and watch the guage as you apply and release the brake

Frank what #'s should I be looking for ? Would weak line press. be most likely be the pump? Thanks Ward
