*1st Round Camera back inside the car. I got the bye run.

*2nd round we where leaking oil on the staring line.

The oil filter adapter was loose and that is where the oil was coming from. We tighten that up and realized the timing cover is cracked.

We won Best appearing car at the event this weekend. So at least we got something.

Man that sucks about the oil leak. At least it was somethin' simple. I love that wheelie bar cam. I'd sure hate to try and watch that view after a few drinks though. Might make a fella fall right outa the chair. Why does the engine go flat at the end of your runs? Is it just gettin' up on the limiter?

I think we lost a wheel weight and that's why we had a vibration and that why the camera was shaking so bad. It's was shaking the car pretty bad to. I'm going to re balance the tires when we fix the timing cover. About the motor going Flat I think with a 4.56 gear it's just to much for 1/4 mile. We have the revlimiter at 7500rpm and it's right there at the strip. We really don't want to rev it more than that.

I was wondering what gearing you had...? Is that where it works best, or have you tried a little less gear? I need to get the balance checked on my rear wheel/tire combo. I was told nobody around here can balance them. So they're just on there.

Well we had a smaller motor in it and had 4.88 and it was buzzing that motor to hard and we went from 32x14in slick to 33x16 and a 4.56 gear. For that motor that was the best combo. This motor we don't have that many laps on it to get everything figured out.

We have a bubble balancer. That for us is the best way to balance slicks. It does a great job on radial's and every other tires also.

Next time out it wont be on the throttle stop and it shouldn't vibrates so much. The tires are balanced now and should be smooth as glass and the camera shouldn't shake. Time to start play with the wheelie bars to find the sweet spot.

Is the GoPro cam a hardrive, flash, or tape format videocam?

It record onto a SD card. You plug it in your USB and upload onto your computer.
