anybody in the central illinois area looking for a house? Newly remodeled with custom handrails and stainless stairs on the open balcony. Hot rod themed. 4000 sf home with 3200 sf shop on four acres. Shop includes the following.
Have I said, paint booth/room stays, 9000 pound lift, drill press, three big pallet racks that are up, three more that are not, Miller 251 MIG welder($2000) Craftsman tool box, 2 work benches, 2 wall cabinets, big corner office desk, 8x16 storage shed out back with wall shelves all around great for out of sight stuff. A year old Simplicity powered walk hind snow
blower, was almost $2000 new...2 big storage cabinets, kinda like a wardrobe storage, also ...6.5 horse 2 stage air compressor, all air lines ran through out shop, .aybe even the 48" box and pan sheetmetal brake/bender was around $2000 new...250,000. Property tax is 2300 a year.
it's 25 miles farther from my work or I would be all over it. I want it, but can't justify the drive. Owner is Tim Strange. Host of search and restore. Quality built home throughout.

I'm with Jason..... Sound like a great house and property.... only problem is the "Snow"....

he is moving to tenessee because of his tv show and snow. I want out of here also.unfortunately the wife has 15 years in at her district toward retirement.

the real crappy part is if I get any closer to our jobs, I will be in another county. A place like that there would be close to 400,000. Property tax would be over 10,000 a year

Get a small beater car thats good on gas and drive it....... stay out of the expensive county's

I hope to. She is a teacher and I hope to have a full time fab shop going by then. So I can move it anywhere after I build a rep. Will have a vehicle on display at the 2012 sema and other big shows

It is a steal of a price compared to down here. Any yes I couldn't pay my wife to move close to anywhere with snow. LOL.

That would be $1,000,000+ around where I live

also sucks that it's in my price range. I live in a 2000 sf house with a 1900 sf shop that is way to small. Can't explain that to wife though
