This is what happened to me this weekend

this is on one of those 8 jet spreads that burn up stuff Rolling Eyes 86 passes so far this year and still within 5 pounds on each cylinder. Took out 2 degrees extra timing and the car dead hooked Mad lost the round but won the point championship. thanks Steve Johnson for the advice on stepping the system up.

this is at the same track same day 1.34 60 5.9400 @ 117mph on this pass

the highstand pass it was a 1.46 60ft @ 6.60 89mph

i have the car tuned to 5.95 as that is the heads up index i run i am still working on my bbf

Thanks, i have all the parts except valve springs for my BBF i purchased a set of limiters and some double adjustable shocks for the new ride hopefully i will have better luck keeping it on the ground or at least close to the ground this year

this was a 383 sbf i sold everything but the short block to pay for my BBF build i run it lean very lean, and it works great. i had about 95 passes on the motor and when i pulled it down the motor looked like brand new, it had a pro shot fogger with 8 jet spread up to 300 then a 10 jet spread for 325 shot up with 5psi fuel pressure. stock block but forged crank rods and Ross n20 pistons and a crane n20 cam with afr 205 heads the car weighs 3150 with me in it and it is stock suspension no mini tubs and stock shocks, the best 1/4 mile pass was 8.90 @152mph and 1/8 was 5.60s @124mph the car belongs to a friend of mine we built for his 16 year old son when he was 15 his son will be driving that car this year while i will be campaigning a bbf fox with a some spray

it is my old top sportsman motor just updating for nos, its a 532 with eldebrock heads, it was a 13.71 na motor with a scat 9000 crank now 532 but with a adney forged crank upgraded rod bolts to arp 2000 and a dss girdle on a dove block, with Ackerly n Childs nitrous rings and a new 114 lobe seperation cam with lots of lift to try to mke up for the loss of cranking pounds. going with a fogger either induction solutions or Monte Smith still have not decided should run decent i know the heads are going to be the limiting factor but hopefully the fogger will take care of that atmosphere in a bottle Very Happy

i had a 521 with edelbrock heads it ran 590 in a stock suspenion mustang it had a cast crank

mine was running 5.60 in a tube chassis car before with the cast crank, but when i switched it to the stock suspension with stock shocks i could not get it past a 6.12 i got a guy that is going to help with the stock suspension set up this year i am leaving alot on the starting line, but i will get it one way or the other. in the tube chassis it was 1.24 60 in the stock suspension 1.45 60 needs lots of work, been working the last month on the rear suspension almost ready

my car worked good with the morso spring when i went to coilover the 60 foot was like yours i must not have had the coilover tight enough right after that i sold it and started over from the ground up now i have a four link car
