Saturday, Nov 12th, at 2:00 PM. Church Tele# 281-242-7729 if u need more info. It is located off Hwy 6, past freeway 59 going west at last set of lights on Hwy 6, (Brooks St.).
turn right for about 6 blocks on left side of road. Very large church, can't miss it.

Got this from the widow. No local obit yet. Will post when I see one.
Ron was cremated and they had a funeral in Iowa where Ron was from. This is the service for where Ron lived.

RIP. I only met him a few times, very nice guy, I always enjoyed talking to him.

Ronald L. Vesterby Sr. Please join us in loving memory for the celebration of life to Ronald L. Vesterby Sr. Ron was born on May 31st, 1946 in Humbolt, Iowa to Joy and Gladys (Werling) Vesterby. He lost his battle to cancer on Oct. 15th, 2011 in Denver, Co.
He was married on Dec. 30th, 1967 to Inga Marsh (Vesterby) for 43 years until his passing. They resided in Missouri City, Tx. for the last 20 years. His lifetime career was in the Gas and Oil Industry. Ron had a deep love, and was very active in NHRA racing with many friends.
He is survived by his mother, Gladys; wife, Inga; daughter, Tearea (Pat); son, Ronald L. Jr.(Sherry); and grandchildren, Amanda, Robert and Cole. A memorial service will be held on Nov. 12th - 2:00pm at Faith Lutheran Church. Located at 800 Brooks St. Sugar Land, Tx. 77478
