Re: Anyone stepping it up?
Dropped the block and rotating assembly off at the machine shop friday for my new 466 to be bored, honed and balanced. It will be close to 14:1 with some ported (unknown #'s) A-429's, mafia intake, right now its gonna have a custom grind solid flat tappet until more funds come in.
Its going in front of a c-4 with a dana 20 in my new 98 ranger mudtruck I am building which is going to be heavily gutted,12 point cage, skinned bed with a dana 44 and 8.8. This is going to take the place of my smallblock bronco.

Re: Anyone stepping it up?
I can't lie like that. Besides washing the mud off, I'm doing a body swap from the beat to crap 89 body to a 95 step side body. Will get a nice aluminum floor pan/fire wall in the process. Goal is to get it from 3000lbs on the 39" boggers down into the 2??? lb range. After that, I'm doing some tranny and rear axle upgrades to get a better launch

Re: Anyone stepping it up?
My intake is being plumbed with a fogger set up right now. I would be happy with 8.80s on the bottle, as its already 9.40s on motor only.

Well I want to....just haven't made the public announcement. I want to make sure I'm going if I say I am. The company I work for is a diesel engine supplier for Chrysler and our dept is quite busy with these proto-type builds and the B.S. that goes along with it..... so I don't know yet
