TURBO FORD BUILD
Well you guys said you wanted to know a little about the build.
R and d is about done on the engine,car is getting mini tubed,and all the bars welded in.
in a few weeks ill do the moc up for the headers ( I have something I want to try to reduce spool time) blow off valve I want,etc
engine is a sbf,boss 302 block,alum( a ton of work in these) head,roller (solid) ,c4 car, 10.5
tire? 8.8 .
as of now theres not a wire in the car,line,int,just the windsheild.
A lot to do yet,more later

with proper cam selection and tuning, spool time is not a big deal to work with depending on turbo size. our ride with a sbf and 88 could spool after prestage. another car we help with runs a sbf with a 118 and it does take a while.

This will be a blow thru carb engine,With heavy modified super victor.
This car is not going to be the lightest ,and thats one of the reasons to make the turbo spool ( or engine recover) as fast as it can. Thus the reason for spending extra time on the headers. it might not even inprove, but thats what R & D is for.
It will be a few weeks before i get back on this,I'll try to get some pics up when I can.
