Hi new to the site, building a 1951 Ford 8:50 legal chassis 557in A460 heads, 15.2:1 Danny B, shaft rockers, GZ etc.C6 on a toilet with methanol. Just pulled the converter about 3 months to late to find shrapnell in the converter. Would like input on a 5500-5800 brands that work much appreciated. Cheers Derek

Yes we went local but the computech says it needs tightening. Are you going to the old time drags in Ashcroft?

Nope on Ashcroft. If I wasnt working I would like to hit the 25th anniversary race up there. Used to run up there a lot back in the day. Not so much any more. Ran the IHRA deal up there a couple weeks back. First time there in 3 or 4 years I think. Next trip is Edmonton, Woodburn, then back to Mission for the national open.

It's going to be fun for sure. I ran the 51 there last year in the summer, nice to be able to go 9.00 with out a license. Since I'm the crew on the car I don't see the need for going through all that to drive once a year. We were there for the first race and every race till Mission opened, my how time flew by. I'll probably be crewing at the national open so I'll stop by and introduce myself. Cheers Derek
