i am using a 10'5 tire 29.5 tall on a 10 inch rim @ 12 lbs pressure. which way should I go with pressure to increase wheel speed? The car almost dead hooks now, maybe 1/4 turn on launch.
Launch rpm is close to 4500

i would say that increasing pressure would cause more wheel speed ....but why dont you increase your launch rpm ? what convertor do you have ? what type of rear suspension ?

its a stock type fox body suspension with good componants. I did try a 5500 rpm converter last year ( it was a very short season for me ) but the car lost 10 mph at the 1/4 so I went back to my previous converter

in the avitar it went a 1:31 60 foot 20 feet from the starting line the wheels were still in the air in the avitar

You can try higher psi but I'd bet that will only act as a band aid. My guy tells me tha the anti squat is off and the IC is too short...
