c4 flex plate shield

I have a c4 with a jw bell. I ordered a tci flex plate cover and the last 4 inches on the right need to be bent out pretty good or cut as it won't clear the bell buldge for the starter. Will this mess with the sfi cert? Also is there a c4 flexplate you guys recommend?[left]

if you have a JW bell, why do you need it?

I'm a rookie when it comes to the racing stuff and requirements. If I'm reading this right the jw will fulfill the flex plate requirement. Also we were going to drill and tap a few holes on the bottom of the jw to mount a shield to block the converter from debri. This mostly a street car will that mess with the sfi cert?

you only need the fw shield with a stock bell, no need w it on a JW.

don't worry about debris. any modification will void sfi sticker
