local car show

i took my 68 to a local car show today.first time i've had it out to a show and took 3rd.they put all the modified mustangs together in one class,1964-2012.i knew my good friend with the 65 would take 1st but i got beat out of 2nd by a damn 12 roushcobrasomethinanother Laughing

the 65 has a 04 cobra engine/trans in it and its a real nice ride! Very Happy

DAAAANG!!!! That '65 is a real work of art. Super clean... Of course, your '68 is a real looker as well. Congrats to both of you...

I'm a judge for our local Ford club. We would have had the second place car in a different class all together. And X2 what Doug said. Nice and congrats. Very Happy

My thoughts exactly Rick. I also judge for a local car club and try to be as impartial as possible when I have to judge those darn chebys, haha. Yours looks pretty good cool 40 but that '65 is 'killer', bet you didn't mind loosing to him Smile

We have a 1999 to present class to make sure the older cars don't get slighted.

but i sure dont see comparing a 68 to 12! hell i'd thought this 93 fox was a 2nd place car over the 12.... local car show Car_sh14

it's still got factory paint everywhere but the hood,nice fox body fosho! i realy liked this old car with a FE BBF in it,its got the TN vols paint go'n on too Laughing
