1998-2012 Ford Ranger front brake upgrade options?????

Looking for some brake upgrade options for the Ranger, I have been toying with the idea of modifying the A-arms so I can install a MustangII front spindle which would do 2 great things!

1. Should drop the front end ~3 inches for high speed stability

2. Open up a huge selection of brake options.

Thoughts, comments, opinions???

Eric I cut my springs on mine and lower the frontend down my frontend is 6 1/2'' off the ground but my engine is set back 12''.Eric I have LOOKED for better brake also but haven't found anything that looks to be better.I know what you mean about trying to pull up on the convertor my brakes don't hold when coming up on the convertor just pushs the front out of the beams.Stops good just want hold on the line when trying to load the convertor alittle.I will be doing a frontend upgrade over the winter to struts and new brake system out from under a Mazda RX7 5lug.The Rx7 has alot off brake upgrade and the parts cheaper than the mustang brake parts.I have everything to do the swap right now except the coil over kit and will be after I see how much wieght I loose from the frontend swap for the spring rate.

The local circle jerk shop has weld in threaded inserts that accept balljoints to fit Mustang II spindles so I was thinking of installing those.
