Another GM product being remade !

I guese GM transmsiisons are more supirior than the ford transmissions ! TH400 being remade

Why not a c-4 or c6 case especialy a c-4 ?

Some of the fastest door cars on Earth run turbo-glides, which are in a th400 case. Go look at most of the pro nitrous and a lot of the promod guys in the ADRL.

It just seems to me that from what I see and read is that the gm trans is the superior transmissions of all transmissions. It just burns me up that the after market is geared more toward the gm company

Look at it this way. The glides we build use zero factory parts. So it is aftermarket, not gm. LOL

The PG I am ok with Now . Just the th 400 isn't seting well because there is a good mkt for the c-4 trans. the c4 is a good peice and would be better if we had a case and more after market internal parts for them . Thats not to mention the 727 and 904 chry transmissions that are good transmissions as well.

the old ford trans is so good we dont need any "new" ones. how's that?

Not everyone has your money or that kind of money laying around ! With that said, don't think I haven't thought about it or been thinking about doing it.

What makes you think that there isn't a demand for other transmsission cases types and brands to be sfi and all of the parts made and up graded for them ? keep in mind that this has nothing to do with the PG at all ! This is about the GM TH400 and GM PRODUCTS in GENERAL!

Can C6's be built to be a two speed? What do they cost to make as strong as my promod glide or the turbo-glides out there? I would be willing to make a change.

Thats my point! The Gm stuff is junk to start with.Then the aftermarket takes it and makes it better and everyone thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread.
It seems to be a debate that has been going on long before I got on any forum and started ranting about it.
