Anyone going to the Hot Rod Reunion in June at Bowling Green?

Me,Dan Hobbs,and Keith Fulp will be there.Sent in my registration last week. You coming?

It's a big event and you need to go Mike. Your car would be a good "fit".

Yep we are definitely coming. I'm going to set it up to run the A/Modified 10.0 class. I like the idea of index racing with a full .500 tree. My friend with the front engine 351 C dragster will hopefully have it together for this race and Dad may be bringing his LS1 headed 300 Ford six powered 62 Falcon if we can get some bugs worked out of it.

It's the best show around.I love this race ,and will be there as long as I can bum an engine somewhere to run it,since I can't keep my own stuff running...Damn ,that sounds familiar..

Is there any advantage to pre-registering or can you just pay at the gate?

you have to prepay by june 6th .You can't pay at the gate.The 1st year I tried to go ,they turned me away at the gate.

To run your car you have to pre-register. Go to NHRA HRR museum for the application and then you can fax it in. It will cost you and 1 pit crew $100 for the week and that includes everything. Good deal and lots of fun. Wes needs to bring his stuff,they would be all over that.

Oh that's good to know. I'd hate to drive all the way down there and get turned around. Guess I'll send in the form.

I'll be there this year. Spectating, kids asked me what I wanted for fathers day,I told them and momma to drop me off at the gate and pick me up Sunday night sometime

So the schedule doesn't say anything about Sunday. Do they finish the program Sat. night?

Again this year, I see that they want to charge me $65 to sleep in my own camper in my own pit space.
I can't remember if I paid them in the past, but it pisses me off to pay for the same strip of grass twice.

Yes,they finish it Saturday now. Keith ,that pisses me off too. I've paid it every year ,but they've never checked for the sticker.I could not pay it and tell them T.J. has it

Me and Dan make a whole week of it. The breweries all work overtime for a month after this week.
