I'm new to the nos world on v8 motors. Have experience on motorcycle, but none on car/truck motors so bear with me. I'm putting a NOS Cheater setup on my 466 mud truck and have a stealth intake. My machinist said the motor is good for a 250 shot, so my plan is to try it at 150 and work my way up until I get it where I want it. My big question is with the divider of the stealth, is it wise to put the spray plate all the way down on the top of the intake, or should I put a 1" spacer under it to help it mix better? The destructions that come from NOS recommend running an open single plane intake, so it has me concerened some. The motor runs great on fuel alone with an 850dp, 1" power cone spacer on top of a 1" open spacer, so I was thinking about putting the spay plate between the 2 spacers, but want to make sure that is a good idea before I do it. ANy help would be appreciated.

I would sure try the spacer as well.. We have used them before on similar combos and they seemed to help as well.. Thanks, Steve

I had a stealth intake and was concerned about the sray pattern. So I set it up on the bench and sprayed some nitrous! The spray looked alright with and without a 1" spacer. I didn't shoot any gas thru it during my testing. No further details are available, as I did this about 3-4 years ago and didn't document it with pictures.
That being said, I used a spacer when it was installed on the car.

Yep, it's all good as long as you have cold beer, ice, a piece of 1/2" aluminum fuel line, an air compressor, and a few bottles of home brew wine!
