Bumper - remove or not
Anyone here remove the rear bumper from their fox body? I'm making a list to put my car on a diet and I was wondering if it was a good idea or bad - backed up with actual results. It's supposed to be 50lbs with the mounts. The front is already butchered and lightened but it could use some more work.

We just use 1/2" tubing for bumper supports. Home depot has some mild steel that size.

That is kinda what I was thinking of using too. Just something to hold the shape.

I'll take it out before the next race. I'm working on my sponsors F350 dually right now so I see a new set of tubular front lower control arms and a 2 step in my very near future...LOL
