I am thinking of sending my intake to Nitroplate to have it coated in their shiny chrome like finish. Anyone ever done it? Any input? How did it come out. Where you happy with the results. I used jet hott for my headers ten years ago.

I had the TFS A460 intake on my dragster done by NitroPlate.   Really liked it.  Held up well and made it super easy to keep clean.

I've had a few intakes done over the years, nice finish, easy to clean and it looks great.

Prices.

http://nitroplate.com/how-to-order/

Price has dropped. Shows $110 for a single plane V8 intake. Seems like I paid $125 several years ago.

If you are not in a hurry they usually do a deal in December where you get free return shipping.

BTW, mine was coated on all surfaces and I never had any problems with leaks. Just a smear of TA31 on the gaskets and good to go.
