97 Mustang 564" Empty 97 Mustang 564"

Post  dtimmer November 14th 2013, 11:19 pm

I am in the process of building my 97 mustang. Should be ready for spring next season. It is stock suspension on a 29.5" x 11.5". For the first year it will most likely get bracket raced and some open comp racing. Also some local street cruising, it is a power windowed street car after all! After the first year plan is to put a single stage fogger on top. I will update more as I get more done.

Engine:
564"
a460 block
weisco pistons 4.650 bore 11.4:1 compression
eagle 6.800" h-beams
scat 4.150" 4340 crank with boss snout
Ford SCJ heads flow 420@.850 & 265@.850
rockers will be T&D 1.8 ratio with a custom one piece stand made by me
camshaft is undecided right now
6 stage dry sump
sheet metal tunnel ram with two 1150 quickfuel carbs

Trans will be a TH400, cage is currently only certed to 8.50, lots of other go fast parts.

Ignore the front runners below! They are only on there so I could move it around lol. Also the single carb intake was
replaced by the tunnel ram below.
