fuel pressure regulator question
What happens if you do not hook a vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator? Will it still work?

It will work but, bot the way it is supposed to work.
The vacuum line on a fuel pressure regular is there to always keep the fuel pressure drop across a fuel injector the same because one side of the injector sees manifold vacuum.
With a carburetor, that line should simply be atmospheric pressure.
