Street/Strip Solid Lifter Builds? Empty Street/Strip Solid Lifter Builds?

Looking for some hard running solid lifter street/strip combinations. What kind of performance are you getting out of solid lifter cams? I'm interested in performance across the board from stock heads to Boss 429's. I have a 514 assembly with ported iron Cobra Jets and port-matched Dominator Victor intake that is going in a 1964 3400 lb F-100 for street/strip antics. I calculate around 10.5:1 compression and am looking at 2" fenderwell headers. Planning on using a C6 and 3.89 gears. Hoping for high 6's in the 1/8 mile and low, low 11's in the 1/4.

10.80's with a 545 in 4160 lbs with a Lunati solid flat tappet cam. Quite a few street miles as well, and the cam's been running great for several years now.

Comp EDM lifters are your friend with a larger flat tappet cam.

That is a serious setup and exactly what I am looking for. Can you provide some more details?

Check out this link, I have my build outlined there.

https://www.429-460.com/proven-builds-f4/street-strip-edelbrock-headed-545-video-t144.htm

Also, the new best time on the combo is a 9.95 @ 135.6 mph on a 200 shot.

Hope this helps,
