I agree with you Blake. A soft set up with a lot of power can be a hand full. For a chassis car there is a lot of movement in it. Prob has to be to get going on that kind of surface. That is kind of the way I had my fox body that I crashed set up. It went ok but was a hand full but was a hand full if it ever broke loose.

Going to see how fast ole daddy dave really is this saturday ...

Ol Tuff sure has made himself look like a scared little girl. Had a 10k race locked in with the sonoma (which he beat before) and is running scared lol. It makes for good reading...

Monday is the season finale. I dont think Dominator has raced at all this season. Varley, Doc, Andrade a few times. And I heard Tina is supposed to come back with her TT ls motor in the truck on season 4. Must be rough for those guys.

Dominator lost to Doc a few episodes ago.

Well Daddy Dave put on a good show at middle Tn dragway and Jackie was very personable person.

Truck made three  passes .

The lights did come on with times and mile per hour!

First hit was a test hit with no time let out 1/4 track
Second hit was let out at half track and the throttle back in it and went 5.30 @ 129 mph
Third hit went whole track at 4.94 et and I think 151 mph.

 Good times and a good night !!  

 

There was a good out take clip showing Daddy Dave doing tuning at Midwest Street Cars with BC and Shawn, sprays almost the same hp as what the motor makes.

I am sure the truck would have went faster if shut down area ! It is making some serious power for sure!

On the deleted scene the dyno showed 760hp on motor and 1370hp on spray.

The whole show is very anti-Ford. I was so glad to see that arrogant bitch hit the wheat field with her sbc powered Mustang. She got what she deserved. Isn't that two for two on the woman wrecking their cars anyways? I thought the last one rolled her s10 after hitting the wall but I could be mistaken. That Boosted is a joke compared to the other cars and Varley, geez, what can you say good about that idiot.

Yes the show is completely anti-Ford for sure! That girl driving the Chevy powered mustang races nothing but Fords and her family is a bunch of Ford people, they prob made her run that junk on the show, her car is a Ford hemi powered 2005Mustang and before that a turbocharged Thunderbird, her dad used to drive a ford pro stock thunderbird, so I think the show really is set out to make Fords look as bad as possible. Also boostedGT is not a joke anywhere but on that show. Just youtube his stuff and check him out on FB. That car and his old car are for real and he has made a tin of money through the years street racing and doing track days that are unprepped. I enjoy the show but they really do make a fool of the Fords on that show especially Varley and Freakinrican.

Boosted's car was almost new when the filming started this year. He was having plenty of problems with it. You can tell filming has been done for a while, since they were still wearing hoodies, and it looked chilly out. Since then, he's got some bugs worked out. He won the small tire cash days a while back, and after it was over, Doc gave him the back tire (Doc won big tire that day) and Boosted beat him. If they are filming now, pretty sure he will move up the list.

Tina wrecked hers at a no prep race at the track, racers didnt want the track guys to touch it.... Every car that went down it was outta shape, the track was slicker than any street ever thought of being w all thw dust on it. After her crash they swept it and cars started making passes. Ive met Kayla and shes not much of a bitch as she appears on the show.

Her old car was bbf with twins so it would be nice to know what's in her new promod.  I haven't seen it so I don't know. Plus, she seemed cool as hell when we were up there.
