460 Dual Quads

Still looking for a good Single plane, dual quad manifold for my 460 motor. Pro Comp's will not work. Any others out there?

No single plane that I'm aware of, only the Blue Thunder dual plane and Ford dual plane, (rare) are the other ones that I know of. Pro Comp is the only single plane out there. You could have one built by the custom manifold makers but very expensive. Good luck!

You might want to try contacting Blue Thunder about machining one of their single plane Boss 429 dual quad intakes to the 429-460 bolt configuration. That is your only choice IMHO.

I have story to tell you:

Once upon a time I was working on a pretty cool modular 2x4 low rise single plane intake. "Modular" because the dual carb top plate was removable and a blower plate could be installed in its place.

Then I received the quote from the pattern maker...

Look on Ebay under seller speedmasterusadc, they have a single plane low rise 2x4 manifold in CJ port for $ 269.58 and free shipping. They are out of Rialto, CA, which is so-cal. They have good pictures posted, and you can mount the carbs inline or sideways, and it has FI/nos bungs cast in. Looks like a great deal.
