Well I have the first Prototype in my hands finally to check out ,this is project I've been working on with TCS out of Langley B.C, Canada for the last year
this piece comes in @ 3 lb 12 oz compared to the stock drum @ 10 lbs 5 oz 's . it will hold 5 standard clutches and steels (.076")or 7 Red alto power pac clutches and steels ( .063")

Will it be hardcoat anodized so there will be little if any band wear...?

It is about time someone is paying real attention to the C6.

I'm hoping to have these for sale the 1st of the new year , cost is not finalized and we thinking of anodizing or a steel sleeve

The drum looks great Frank. I have talked with the TCS guys at PRI and they sure make nice looking parts.
At the RPM that drum spins, it will be a good addition to the C6 racers Christmas list.

the biggest advantage is on the 2-3 shift , when the drum is being held by the band and needs to accelerate to engine rpm in a split second without frying the high gear clutches !! on our 2-3 shift in the car is @ 8600 rpm and with on old ATI aluminum drum we over 200 passes on the high gear clutches and they still look new ! ( ATI has no desire to build any more drums )

He built my transmission in 2008...great service.

Just wondering what would the max potential of an all out C-6 be? I have a glide now not sure if I'm going to stay with it or go 3 spd turbo 400 or a 2 sp turbo 400. Would a top of the line C-6 even be a possibility?

I'll let Frank M weigh in but you can go very fast with a C6. Tough unit. I've known guys who've run 7 and 8 seconds with them in the 1/4 mile. I'm currently building a C6 for a blown SBF application that should run in the 8's and hope to take it to the 7's next season.
