Done with winter

We have had 3ft of snow from 2 storms in the last 3 days....And we already had 2-3ft on the ground. I plowed my driveway twice yesterday and when I got home from work at 5:30 it was all blown in 3-4ft deep for like a 100ft. My old 92 F350 4x4 got an awful thrashing in the last few days. Frig of winter, I want to go racing in May. At this rate I won't be able to find my car trailer until July!

wow.... its gonna be 80 today !!! just planted the garden this past weekend ......

I hate snow too...... But fortunately the last 8 years I've been in pretty snowless areas.

Yep been in the 80s here all week raining right now and the weekend calling for rain again just my luck I am off this weekend and it will rain I may never get my F350 painted

Here's a few pics, as I type this there is a plow going down our road trying to wing it back so I will be out plowing again in 10 minutes..LOL

I tried to go to work on Wednesday morning but I couldn't get off the 102, the exit ramps were plugged. I work as a truck mechanic for the Nova Scotia dept of Transportation. I followed one of our plows home when I turned around. You can see the wall of snow as high as the truck cab coming off his wing.



I ended up working at the plow shed closest to my house for the day. This pic is of a wrecker we were following to go rescue one of the plow trucks that went off the road.

My best friend called in a panic last night, he works for the coast guard and when he got home is driveway was like 3-4ft deep from the house to the road. His plow guy wouldn't try it...LOL....I poked a hole in it but there is a garage door with a Honda parked outside of it behind that snow pile. That is going to be a snow shoveling horror story. I have a 92 F350 4x4 cab and chassis dually with a 9ft plow on it, 95 7.3 Powerstroke/ ZF-5 with 4.11's. That old bitch will push some snow.

are you F**&ing kidding, I can't believe you guy's have to do that kinda s&*t just to get home, man I thought I was going to die in the weather when I went to Kentucky and Alabama to pick up my Truck, how long will it take for that S&*t to go away? I guess I need to be thankful that I live down here and quit Bitching when it 90* today

This isn't a usual winter, December and January were very mild with no snow but winter showed up with gusto in February and its been one kick in the balls after another since. We are supposed to get a lot of rain tomorrow so that will cause flooding and roof collapses if there is too much snow on them. Two business roofs collapsed the day of the storm. I have to shovel off my camper roof today and finish one deck off. If it gets mild it should melt fast but you should see the piles in the big parking lots at the box stores, they are beyond retarded. The city brought in 50 extra pieces of heavy equipment and the military to clear the snow...LOL.

Wow that's a hole lota snow sure glad we don't have to deal with that

On a side note : sounds like your ol truck is a beast for sure

For a 23yr old truck I can't complain. It has a dump box too. I built this truck myself. The old pig is 9000lbs empty with the plow on LOL

Guess I should be happy with just getting an inch of snow today. Over the last couple weeks we had about half our snow melt.

Been mid 80s here since last friday, and not a cloud in the sky.we went boating today.

It's been warm enough to work with the door open this week putting on some new valve springs tomorrow thanks to Lem for some last minute Kentucky hospitality!

They are calling for 2-4" of snow and then 1-1.5" of rain for today and tonight....just f'n lovely LOL

We woke up to 4" of heavy wet snow last Sunday and this is what we woke up today this morning, another 10-12"....Did I mention I'm done with winter.... ....Time to wake the beast.
