My trailer
Dang I'm getting old. I have a Pace Shadow GT 28 tag trailer. It has 3 axles (5200 ilbs) Just finished putting brakes, bearings and grease seals on the thing. Should last me a few years though, whew....
Re: My trailer
Not quite the spring chicken anymore?? Lol. Sounds like a time consuming job.

Re: My trailer
YUP, me too. But, I only have (2) axles. However, I did find a bad outer bearing and a coupla sets of crappy shoes. Way better to find this stuff at home, than be stranded on the road somewhere...especially if you're headed to the BBF Extraveganza at US-60.!!.

Re: My trailer
Russ, That sounds like a job for a voltmeter to me. I've assumed that trailer wire colors were in the correct locations before.....!?!
Here's a good one for you: I pulled a customer's trailer with my F450 a few years ago. As I flew down I-85 in SC, the sun went down. The automatic headlights turned on and I flat spotted all of his trailer tires. Damned if that won't jerk you out of a nap. I sorted that mess out in a rest area using a pocket knife.
Double check 'em.

Re: My trailer
Thanks I figured it out. My trailer is a 1997 pace Shadow GT that I bought and restored. I had the turn lights and running lights crossed. Everything burns bright and my new brakes worked!
